The technical staffs in the Department of the Area between the Two Holy Shrines begin work to rehabilitate a street in the old city.

The Digital Information Center of the Library and House of Manuscripts of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, and in agreement with the Central Library at the University of Mosul, made available free online services provided by the Center on the official website of the Central Library at the University of Mosul, and this comes in the framework of scientific and knowledge cooperation between the two parties and in the belief in the importance of making knowledge available to all.
The director of the Digital Information Center, Mr. Ammar Hussein Al-Jawad, stated: “After we launched the electronic secondment service and the service of knowing the percentage of plagiarism, which reached a wide range, especially among the Iraqi university professors and students, as we received dozens of requests every day, brothers in the central library of the University of Mosul contacted us for the possibility of making these services available on their website, which was accepted and now these services are available in the central library website for the benefit of Iraqi university students. "
Al-Jawad added: "Our center is ready to provide its services to all who wish to support the scientific and cultural march in the country and preserve our ancient heritage. In this regard, we have presented a special agreement to the central library at the University of Mosul for their accession to our national projects, which we manage in order to serve and preserve the heritage of our country that has been looted and destroyed, especially by the ISIS terrorist attack. "
