The Minister of Oil had the honor to visit the al-Abbas’s (p) Holy Shrine and met its Secretary-General.

The Iraqi Minister of Oil, Ihsan Abdul Jabbar Ismail, was accompanied by a ministerial delegation this afternoon (15 Shawwal 1441 AH) corresponding to (8 June 2020), by visiting the shrine of Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him). And after performing the Ziyarat rituals, he had a meeting with the Secretary-General For the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, Eng. Muhammad Al-Ashigar, and a number of its distinguished Board members and heads of departments.

The two sides discussed many matters, the most important of which were the measures taken by the l-Abbas's (p) holy shrine to prevent and limit the spread of the Corona epidemic, and the initiatives it had undertaken during this period.

It is noteworthy that this visit of the oil minister is the first to the holy city of Karbala after he assumed his ministerial portfolio, and it also included the oil refinery in the province.
