The banner of the El-Abbas holy shrine covers the grave of the Prophet Daniel (p.b.u.h) (Pictorial report)

May 9, 2013. The delegation of the El-Abbas holy shrine visited Shoosh district in Khuzestan city – Iran where the sanctuary of the prophet Daniel located. The delegation received very warmly by the employees and the management of the sanctuary.

They performed pilgrimage to the prophet Daniel (p.b.u.h) then presented a banner of the El-Abbas holy shrine to be covering the prophet holy grave.

It’s been noticed that so many Shiite people who cannot come to Imam Hussein go annually to the prophet Daniel sanctuary to perform pilgrimage to Imam Hussein and Husseinian rituals, especially on the Fortieth Pilgrimage.

The delegation noticed some resemblances between the prophet grave and El-Abbas (p.b.u.h) grave by water running around their graves. Therefore, this sign reminded people of how El-Abbas (p.b.u.h) was the supplier of water of the family of Imam Hussein (p.b.u.h), and now water running around his sacred grave, then all the members of the delegation shed tears over that tragedy.

They covered the prophet Daniel grave with the banner of the El-Abbas holy shrine.
