For the first time in Iraq: Hollow Block Factory of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine introduces Steam Treatment Technology.

The hollow concrete block production plant affiliated to the Engineering Projects Department at the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine announced its introduction of modern and advanced technology for the first time in Iraq that will contribute to the increase and efficiency of its product, as part of its plans to keep pace with the development taking place in this sector.
This was confirmed to the al-Kafeel Network, by the Plant Director Eng. Jaafar Hussain Al-Qutb, who added: "This modern technology works to treat the block with steam through special devices and equipment, as it works to produce a material with more powerful and durable specifications, away from the traditional methods used in acquiring the resistance block material. It is a method of water that takes approximately 7 days to obtain the required results, while the technology of modern steam treatment requires 7 hours only, in addition to the specifications that this method adds in contrast to the old method, and this step represented a qualitative leap in production as it is considered the first of its kind at the country level. "
Eng al-Qutb pointed out: "The introduction of this technology comes within the development plans achieved by the Plant, which is witnessing many developmental stages, as it has become today one of the most important industrial establishments that serve the building movement in the province of Karbala and some other provinces. Also, we have been keen to adopt everything that would be a qualitative addition to the product that comes out of the factory, due to its direct connection with urban projects, whether related to the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine or other projects alike. And the production of the plant has proven its efficiency and has won the approval of the customers, especially since the factory has obtained the approved ISO 9001 quality certificate."
Adding: "The factory produces two types of blocks (heavy weight and light weight), and of different dimensions (10 x 20 x 40) cm, (15 x 20 x 40) cm, and (20 x 20 x 40) cm, and works with high technology and a system of Hydraulics and shakers, which is one of the modern plants that operate with a special software system to control the quantities of materials entering and the method of mixing them.
