The al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine begins setting up two oxygen plants in Dhi Qar Governorate

The Deputy Secretary-General of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, Engineer Abbas Musa Ahmed, announced today, Wednesday (9th Dhu al-Qi'dah 1441 AH) corresponding to (July 1, 2020), that the engineering staff at the Holy Shrine began setting up two oxygen production plants in Al Hussein (peace be upon him) educational hospital in Dhi Qar governorate.

He added, "Under the direct guidance of the Senior Official of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine; His Eminence Sayed Ahmad Al-Safi, our engineering staff began the work of erecting these two plants this morning, Wednesday, after receiving the appeal of those in charge of the hospital that the oxygen must be provided as quickly as possible, as a result of the scarcity of this substance in the governorate, which is needed to treat people with the Corona virus.

He continued: "The production capacity of each plant is (18) cubic meters per hour, meaning that the total production capacity of the two plants will reach (36) cubic meters of liquid oxygen per hour."

He explained: "The site of the two factories was visited three days ago, where it was equipped with everything it needs in terms of refrigeration, cables, boards, electric switches and the rest of the foundations before its installation, which we are now dealing with, to be opened as soon as possible."
