The staff of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine are finalizing the fourth Hayat building in Karbala.

The staffs of the Engineering Maintenance Department at the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine have reached the stage of the final touches to the completion of the treatment lobby for patients affected by COVID 19 and consulting clinics, which will be attached to the first and second Hayat lobbies in Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) medical city in Karbala, which is dedicated to receive and treat those affected by this virus. The work in this lobby took so far (25) days of continuous work at a rate of over more than (18) hours a day, continuing the day and night, in order to accomplish these works within the time limits specified for them and within its specifications and designs.
The al-Kafeel Network had a meeting with the engineer of the project, Muhammad Mustafa Al-Taweel, who stated: “The project’s completion stages up to this moment exceeded (97%) of the total percentage of work, and what is left is the work of dyeing the outer wall that was coated with insulating stone cork, which is hoped to be completed this night, with some other work such as cleaning and sterilization and painting the floor of the rooms, the areas overlooking it and its middle area with a material against bacteria. And all tests on the electrical, water and cooling systems, and the air intake and propulsion systems have proven successful, thank God. "
Al-Taweel stressed: "The construction of this building is considered in light of these conditions as an achievement for the staffs of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine. As despite all the challenges, we were able to complete the work within its timings even with the additions proposed by the beneficiary, which was expected to take time, but they did not affect the progress of work.
And among the most prominent challenges faced by our staff and which we manage to overcome them with the blessings of whom we are honored to be at his service; the Master Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him), and thanks to the unlimited support and continuous follow-up of those in charge of the Holy Shrine, are:
- The lack of staff working in the project, given that the department is tasked with similar projects in the provinces of Al-Muthanna and Baghdad, as well as other development and rehabilitation work related to the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine.
- The danger of the place to the safety of the workers, as it is located near the isolation lobbies of those infected by Corona virus.
- The main electricity sources are far away, as the main feeder electrical cables reached (250) meters in length, and the wiring work was done with difficulty until they were delivered to the building.
- The difficulty of accessing some of the building's necessary materials due to the imposition of the preventive curfew."
