Engineering Maintenance Department: The work in the Fifth Hayat Building in Baghdad is running smoothly and continuously despite all the circumstances.

The Engineering Maintenance Department at the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine confirmed that its staff working on the Fifth Hayat Building project dedicated to treating people with Coronavirus are making every effort to accomplish it within what is specified in its time and according to the technical and medical specifications, and that the work is running smoothly and continuously despite all the circumstances.

The engineer of the project, Karar Brihi, stated to the al-Kafeel Network: "The Fifth Hayat Building project for treating people with coronavirus is one of the largest projects adopted by the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine to support the efforts of medical staff in the Ministry of Health to confront this epidemic. It is being built on an area (5000) square meters and includes (118) single rooms, in addition to more than twenty medical, administrative and service rooms. And despite the coincidence of this work with the work in other Hayat buildings in the provinces of Babylon, Muthanna, and Karbala, which affected the number of working staff, in addition to the project's proximity to a quarantine center, high temperatures and the difficulty of accessing some materials, this has not deter the determination and will of the workers. And this is the principle of everyone who was honored by the servants of the shrine of Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him). Moreover, the unlimited support provided to them by the administration of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine."

As for the nature of the works, Brihi explained: “The works are distributed according to each stage of the three parts of the project, and they are going at the same pace. In the first part, which has an area of ​​(1377) square meters and includes (56) single rooms, the works in it reached advanced stages with a percentage of completion of 80%, as the windows of the rooms are being fixed and the bathrooms' parts are fixed, along with the work continuing in the secondary ceilings and the work of dyeing the foundation leading to the final dye. "

Brihi added: “The second part of the project, which has an area similar to the first part, the works currently underway are the electrical establishments of the electricity system, in addition to the foundations of the warning and extinguishing systems, while work continues to install the vectors of the fresh air system and the withdrawal of polluted air. As well as other health, side and supplementary works."

With regard to the third part, which has an area of ​​(1000) square meters and includes (19) rooms, its work is as indicated: "It includes electrical wiring for its electrical systems, cladding the floors of bathrooms, while continuing the works of wiring alarm and fire extinguishing systems, and preparing for the start of installing the separation walls."
