With local and Arab participation: organizing a workshop on crisis management and the media.

The Indexing and Information Systems Center of the Library and House of Manuscripts of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine / Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs, in cooperation with the al-Ameed Intellectual and Scientific Society, the al-Ameed University and the al-Kafeel University, intends to organize a Webinar workshop on (Crisis Management and Media) via the ZOOM Cloud Meetings program with the participation of researchers and specialists from inside and outside Iraq, at 5 pm on Tuesday (29 Dhu al-Qi'dah 1441 AH) corresponding to (21 July 2020). It lasts for two hours.

The director of the center, Professor Hassanein Al-Mousawi, explained to the al-Kafeel Network: “This workshop is one of many workshops that the center has been conducting or participating in establishing, and we have prepared a work plan for this workshop that focused on many topics and different axes. Crises and the media), and aims to shed light on the role of the media in facing crises during their occurrence and how to manage them, including the Corona pandemic crisis and how to influence public opinion during crises through the media."

He explained: "There will be a reading of working papers that will be shared by:

- Dr. Naima Hassan from Sultan Qaboos University / Moderator.

- Dr. Mona Aknan is a host and presenter of radio programs working at the Lebanese University - Faculty of Information.

- Dr. Muslim Awad Muhalhal, from Dhi Qar University, Dhi Qar Center for Historical and Archaeological Studies.

- Dr. Anam Zayer Jassem, Head of the Communications Department at the Policy and Reform Center of the Ministry of Industry and Minerals. "
