The Indexing and Information Systems Center intends to organize an electronic course on indexing scientific theses.

The Indexing and Information Systems Center of the Library and House of Manuscripts at the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine intends to hold a specialized electronic course on (indexing university theses according to the (RDA) rules and the Mark 21 standard, through the (ZOOM Cloud Meetings) program next Tuesday (14 Dhu al-Hijjah 1441 AH) Corresponding to (5 August 2020), and it lasts for two days from five to seven in the evening, and the center invited those wishing to participate from the indexers and those interested in this field to register their names.
The director of the aforementioned center, Mr. Hassanein Al-Mousawi stated to the al-Kafeel Network: “Our center is still continuing to organizing its activities electronically, and has prepared a special curriculum for it, bearing a set of topics that focused its attention during this period. And today the topic is of great importance, which is (indexing university theses according to the rules (RDA) and Mark 21 standard).
Noting: "The course in which the indexer, Mr. Ihsan Karim Jaber, will lecture, comes to enable librarians in general and academic libraries in particular, in the field of artistic work within the latest international standards that have proven successful and effective, whether in the library and the House of Manuscripts at the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine or in other libraries, through our staff, who contributed to transferring this experience. "
