Doctors in Al-Kafeel Specialist Hospital have successfully treated a woman of seventy y.o. suffering from a carcinoma in the lower jaw.

A medical team from Al-Kafeel Specialized Hospital in Karbala announced its success in treating a woman in her seventies suffering from a cancerous tumor in the lower jaw.
A specialist in oral and maxillofacial surgery at the hospital, Dr. Radwan Al-Taie, said: “A medical team headed by us succeeded in removing a cancerous tumor from the lower jaw, with the lymph nodes being removed from the neck of a 75-year-old patient.”
Al-Taie added that: "During the operation, the affected area was re-evaluated using a metal plate."
Pointing out: “The hospital has a distinguished medical and nursing team that played a prominent role in the success of the operation,” noting that there are modern and sophisticated technologies in the operating theaters that encouraged us to conduct such qualitative and rare operations.
