In a great crowd, the El-Abbas holy shrine closes the activities of Commander of the Faithful {Imam Ali (p.b.u.h)} First Annual Cultural Festival & presents gifts

May 28, 2013. The El-Abbas holy shrine closed the activities of Commander of the Faithful {Imam Ali (p.b.u.h)} First Annual Cultural Festival which was held under the title of (The Commander of the Faithful is the Successor of the Divine Message & the Commander of the Islamic Nation).

They have drawn lots five times in a competition in order to choose winners who then had been granted gifts. The first ten winners would be taken on a trip to the holy shrines in Kerbala Province on the expenses of the El-Abbas holy shrine.

It has been mentioned that the purpose of holding such a competition was to develop the Islamic knowledge and to expand the levels of the Islamic culture as much as possible. Also, Indian officials and a great number of Indian people highly praised the incomparable activities of the festival and hoped the festival would be rerun in the future.
