May 30, 2013. On the anniversary of the martyrdom of Imam El-Kadhim & his aunt Grand Lady Zaineb (p.b.u.t), the El-Abbas holy shrine held a mourning ceremony in which a lecture was given about the biography of Imam El-Kadhim and his aunt the Grand Lady Zaineb (peace be upon them).

The activities of the anniversary continued for three days where so many pilgrims attended and to participate. There was an activity of reciting supplications.
It has been mentioned that the El-Abbas holy shrine always seeks to commemorate such anniversaries and occasions.
