Minister of Health: The health measures taken during the Ziyarat of Ashura are very meticulous.

The Iraqi Minister of Health, Dr. Hassan Al-Tamimi, confirmed that the preventive health measures taken by the al-Abbas's holy shrine, through its readiness to receive visitors who commemorate the Ziyarat of Ashura for this year 1442 AH, are of high accuracy, and it greatly contributes to preventing the spread of the epidemic and keeping the numbers at a constant level without increasing.
This came during his visit to the al-Abbas's holy shrine this afternoon, Friday (Moharram 8, 1442AH) corresponding to (August 28, 2020), in order to see the preventive measures taken within the plan for the Ziyarat of the tenth of Moharram, accompanied by the director of Karbala Health Department, and received by the Secretary-General of the Holy Shrine, Engineer Muhammad Al-Ashiger, and some members of the Board of Directors.
Al-Tamimi added: “Our thanks and appreciation for the efforts made by the al-Abbas's Holy Shrine in combating the Corona pandemic, as well as its support for the Ministry of Health and its medical staff in confronting this epidemic, and this is not only in Karbala, but in the rest of the Iraqi provinces.”
