More than (8000) meals provided by the host restaurant of Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him), taking into account the preventive conditions.

The host restaurant of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine intensified its services during these days, starting on the seventh day of the holy month of Muharram, within the service plan set by the al-Abbas's (P) holy shrine, in the month of Muharram, by following preventive and health measures.

This is what was confirmed to the Al-Kafeel Network, by head of the host restaurant department; engineer Adel Al-Hamami, indicating: “The host restaurant of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) is still an extension of Abi al-Fadl’s generosity, as it continues to provide his services to visitors to the holy city of Karbala who intend to commemorate Ashura, by offering the mourners and those remembering this occasion, with various meals, which were estimated at more than 8,000 meals per day, divided into (breakfast, lunch and dinner).

He added: "The distribution of meals is made in a highly fluid manner and by following strict health conditions, and in line with the recommendations of the relevant authorities, whether those working on preparing these meals, or through external distribution outlets that ensure the achievement of the principle of social distancing as much as possible, in addition to the use of ready distribution containers prepared for distribution to visitors. "

Al-Hamami asserted: “The host restaurant takes an organized approach in the process and mechanism of distribution by organizing queues, and dividing them into queues for men and others for women, as this expertise came in dealing with large occasions through the accumulation of experiences over the past years, in addition to this year, with its exceptional circumstance. And the distribution will take place through an outlet on Bab al-Qibla Street to the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him), and another outlet next to the al-Abbas's holy shrine."

He continued: "The distribution of the meals that are prepared daily include the following categories:

- Visitors.

- Patients with coronavirus or quarantined in a number of sites for their treatment.

- The security forces in charge of securing Ziyarat rituals and visitors.

- Condolence processions.

- The coming volunteers to support the efforts of the staffs of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine.

- The participants in the condolence councils organized and held by the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine.”
