More than 50 participating countries take part in the Ninth International Cultural Martyrdom Spring Festival

It has been mentioned that more than 50 participating countries have recently arrived in Kerbala Province – Iraq in order to take part in the Ninth International Cultural Martyrdom Spring Festival. The festival held and sponsored by the Imam Hussein holy shrine under the title of (Imam Hussein (p.b.u.h) is the ideal and the best call to the Good).

The festival is determined to be held on June 12-17, 2013. Sayed Aqeel Abdul Hussein El-Yaseri, the head of the media committee of the festival stated that most of those participating countries had finished their visas in order to enter Iraq, and they would be announced once they would be arrived.

All the necessities and facilities have been prepared by Kerbala Province in order to receive the participating countries from the airport to the festival, in addition to the other convenience.

He also mentioned some of the participating countries such as Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Jordan, Syria, Yemen, Lebanon, Egypt, Algeria, Morocco, Comoros, UAE, Sudan, Turkey, Iran, Indonesia, India, Pakistan, Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, Manna Mar, Sri Lanka, Kyrgyzstan, China, Thailand, Belarus, Norway, Belgium, Sweden, the Netherland, Ireland, Germany, France, Spain, Britain, Austria, America, Australia, Philippines, Kosovo, the Republic of Mali, Guinea, Cameroon, Ghana, Nigeria, Madagascar, Senegal, Tanzania, Niger, Ivory Coast, in addition to Iraq.

It’s been mentioned that there would be a great number of remarkable figures at the festival such as scholars, politicians, educationists, ambassadors, thinkers, poets, literalists and journalists from various countries and religions.

It has also been mentioned that the festival is tended to be held on June 1, 2013 which is the great occasion of the blessed birthday of the Grandson of the Prophet Mohammed (Blessings & peace of Allah be upon him & his pure family).
