With a qualitative operation: Al-Kafeel Specialist Hospital's doctors succeed in completely removing a tumor from the lower jaw of a 40-year-old patient.

A medical team at Al-Kafeel Specialist Hospital announced that it had successfully removed a tumor in the lower jaw of a patient in his forties, through a qualitative and successful operation.

The specialist in oral and maxillofacial surgery at the hospital, Dr. Radwan Al-Taie, said: “A medical team headed by us succeeded in removing a tumor entirely from the left side of the lower jaw for a 40-year-old patient, while taking a safety distance to ensure that the tumor will not return again.”

Al-Taie added, "During the operation, the lower jaw was re-grafted and reconstructed by taking bone from the hip, with the use of plasma rich in platelets to speed up the healing process."
