Karbala condolences processions commemorate the martyrdom of Imam Sajjad (peace be upon him)

With steps weighed down by feelings of sadness and grief, beating chests and having tears to the eyes, the Karbalai condolences processions commemorated the sad martyrdom anniversary of Imam Ali son of Al-Hussayn Al-Sajjad (peace be upon him), and as is the tradition in reviving and remembering the deaths of the infallible imams (peace be upon them) that is inherited generation after generation, with a bit of difference this year as a result of the repercussions of the Corona epidemic.
Assistant Head of the Hussaini Processions and Organizations Department in the Holy Shrines of the Imam al-Hussayn and al-Abbas (peace be upon both of them); Sayed Hashem Al-Mousawi explained to Al-Kafeel Network, saying: “Today, Monday morning, a number of processions, bodies and parties of the holy city of Karbala started from the early morning hours, intending to the shrines of the Master of the Martyrs and his brother Abi al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon both of them), to extend the condolences to the Master of Order and time (may God Almighty hasten his holy reappearance) for this sad memory, on this twenty-fifth day of Muharram in the year 94 of the Hijra.
He added: "Our department has prepared an organizational plan to receive these processions that will arrive in succession to revive this occasion, as their paths, starting and closing points have been determined, taking into consideration all the health and medical conditions and working to apply them as much as possible, in a way that ensures avoiding severe crowding or intersection between the processions, the ease and smoothness of their movement, through the deployment of a number of the department’s employees at the passage points for these processions from the beginning to their end."
