The external host of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine raises its flag to start its services for the visitors of Arba’een.

This afternoon, Saturday (1st Safar 1442 AH) corresponding to (September 19, 2020), and for the thirteenth consecutive year in the external host of the al-Abbas's holy shrine located on the road to (Najaf al-Ashraf - Karbala), a ceremony was held to raise the flag of the Hussayni generosity, to announce its readiness to receive visitors and provide them with various services.

The decrees witnessed the presence of a number of members of the Board of Directors of the al-Abbas's (P) holy shrine and the heads of its departments, in addition to a group of clerics and tribal sheikhs, and these decrees began with a blessed recitation of the verses of the Holy Quran. Then came the speech of the General Secretariat of the al-Abbas's (P) holy shrine, delivered by the deputy head of the religious affairs department, Sheikh Adel Al-Wakeel, and through it he explained the importance of the Hussayni service in the Iraqi people's consciousness, as it is an integral part of their identity and heritage, which is considered one of the most prominent signs of Husseini generosity.

Adding: "The al-Abbas's holy shrine used to offer its services to the visitors of the Master of the Martyrs and his brother Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon them both) as they walked through its affiliated various sites that are spread on the roads leading to Karbala."

Explaining: “And this host complex is but one of them, and for the thirteenth year in a row it is raising the banner of the Hussayni generosity in service to the visitors who will cross the (Najaf - Karbala) road heading towards the Qibla of the Free; the shrine of Imam Aba Abdillah al-Hussayn (peace be upon him), to revive the Ziyarat Arba'een ".

After that, there was an elegy delivered by Sheikh Amer Al-Khatib, after which the flag was raised on a mast is of 40 meters height, and the width of the flag is of 13 meters and 17 meters of height, on which it was written on both side: "Peace be upon you O standard bearer of al-Hussayn peace be upon him."
