With a capacity of 1000 liters / hour: The Al-Abbas's Holy Shrine supplies the Children's Hospital in Karbala with a water purification station.

Within the series of its service projects and initiatives in support of medical facilities and their staff in light of these conditions in which the country is living, the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine has established an integrated water desalination system (RO station) in the Children's Teaching Hospital in Karbala Governorate, in order to contribute to treating the water shortage from which it suffers. It is one of the many stations established by the Holy Shrine inside and outside the governorate.
The head of the engineering projects department at the al-Abbas's holy shrine, the engineer Dia Majid Al-Sayegh stated to Al-Kafeel Network: “In accordance with the commandments of the supreme religious authority and in continuation of the initiatives launched by the al-Abbas's holy shrine, in order to support the health sector and stand with the medical staff in light of the repercussions of the spread of the epidemic Corona, we established this station, which was established by the cadres of the water division of our department. "
Noting: “The desalination system (RO station) that has been installed has a production capacity of (1000 liters / hour), and it is manufactured and assembled from parts from international origins, as the pumps are Italian-made, the osmotic membranes are American-made and the filters are Indian, with a Swiss electric control panel, and other parts of different origins. In addition to large water tanks to supply the plant with raw water in a manner commensurate with its production capacity.
