Department of Maintaining Order: We have made all preparations to receive the visitors of Arba’een.

The Department of Maintaining Order of the al-Abbas's (P) holy shrine has completed its preparations for Ziyarat Arba'een of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him), with the aim of preserving the safety and security of the visitors, which is one of the most important priorities of the Holy Shrine, in coordination with the relevant authorities such as the Karbala Police Directorate and the Imam al-Hussayn's (p) Holy Shrine, as well as the organization of the crowd movement flow in a high precision format.
Assistant Head of the Department of Maintaining Order, Ahmad Shaker Al-Mousawi, stated: “The Department of Maintaining Order has plans for the Ziyarat in which millions of visitors participate, on top of which is the Ziyarat Arba'een, and this year we have prepared a plan commensurate with the current circumstances in which the country is living as a result of the outbreak of the Corona pandemic, by providing gloves, and masks for staffs and volunteers, to be worn on duty, as well as providing visitors with them as well.
Adding: "This year, we have recruited (2000) volunteers from various Hussaini organizations and processions that have been volunteering to serve the visitors of the Master of the Martyrs and his brother Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (may God’s peace be upon them), and they will participate with us in the implementation of this plan."
Explaining: "The work of the department is divided into three sections in the Ziyarat: the security, the health, and the service, the security is related to the issues of inspection and surveillance, by using the latest inspection devices and the latest monitoring systems, whether for internal or external sites, while the health department is summarized by sterilizing the visitors entering the al-Abbas's holy shrine, and instructing them to take prevention measures by wearing gloves and masks, while the service side is linked to contributing to the facilitation of the movement of visitors and the condolence processions during their entry and exit to and from the Holy Shrine.
