The Ministers of Labor, Social Affairs and Agriculture were honored to visit the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine and learn about the services provided to visitors.

The Minister of Agriculture, Professor Muhammad Karim al-Khafaji, and the Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, Dr. Adel al-Rikabi, accompanied by the Governor of Karbala, Eng. Nassif Jassim Al-Khattabi had the honor to visit the al-Abbas's holy shrine this afternoon Friday (7th Safar 1442 AH) corresponding to (September 25, 2020), to have a closer look at the most important services currently provided to visitors of the Holy Shrine, and what it will offer them during the Ziyarat Arba'een.

The Secretary General provided an explanation and clarification of the services that the al-Abbas's Holy Shrine will provide to the visitors during the Ziyarat Arba'een, in light of these exceptional circumstances and the repercussions of the spread of the Corona epidemic, and its preparations to receive them and create safe environments for them within its available means in addition to other matters.

In his turn, the Minister of Agriculture, Mr. Muhammad Karim Al-Khafaji, explained to the al-Kafeel Network: “The visit came after we were informed of the successes of the al-Abbas's holy shrine in the agricultural animal and plant production field, and we had a common understanding to exchange visits and increase experiences, in a way that contributes to strengthening this vital and important sector, and that the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine has the potential to adopt huge agricultural projects that will benefit the country, and we were also aware of the most important services that will be provided to the visitors. "

The governor of Karbala, Eng. Nassif Jassim Al-Khattabi, for his part, explained: “This visit today is part of a visit made by the ministers to Karbala, and after they visited the Imam al-Hussayn's (p) Holy Shrine, they had a meeting with the Secretary-General of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, who gave them an explanation of the most prominent activities carried out by the shrine, with regard to the services and the plan set by the shrine for the Ziyarat Arba'een, and they have expressed their admiration and thanks for the progress steps takes by the Holy Shrine in various fields."
