A writer from the Media Department of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine wins first place in an international festival of theater text.

The official of the Paper Media Division in the Media Department of the al-Abbas's Holy Shrine, the writer and playwright Ali Hussein al-Khabbaz, who specializes in writing (The Husseini theatrical text), ranked first for the best text in the (Ashura, the language of human peace for culture and the arts) festival, which was held virtually via social media platforms and in which (12) Arab and foreign countries in addition to Iraq participated. His winning theatrical text was titled (Al-Nawras).
The al-Kafeel network met with al-Khabbaz who stated: “This participation in this festival, which is held in conjunction with the commemoration of Ashura and the days of the Hussayni sadness. The idea of the text was consistent with its title, as a seagull [Nawras] appeared immediately after the killing of Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him), and was staining his body with the blood of al-Hussayn and sprinkling it on the people of Kufa, and thus this seagull formed a horror for Ibn Ziyad. "
He added: “It is striking that the story is a figment of the imagination, but it is strange that I found this imaginary seagull existing in a source that confirms its true existence in the book (Chajarat Touba "The Tree of Blessedness"), and I imagined the awe and horror that plagues the throne of Ibn Ziyad, and this means that it transformed the conflict after the killing of al-Hussayn (Peace be upon him) to a conflict between the thrones of oppression and the punishment of heaven."
It is noteworthy that the festival was organized by Maysan's theater professional in cooperation with the theater platform (theater.Tv), and has formed special committees to manage all festival themes: (theater - formation - chanting - cinema - theatrical text - intellectual seminars).
It is noteworthy that Al-Khabaz has many publications in the field of text writing, many of which won several prizes in similar festivals.
