Closing the activities of the Ninth International Cultural Martyrdom Spring Festival

Sunday June 16, 2013. The activities of the Ninth International Cultural Martyrdom Spring Festival have been closed in a ceremony held in the Imam Hussein and El-Abbas holy shrines under the title of “Imam Hussein is the ideal and the best call to the Good”.

The festival continued for five days in which it had many activities such as Quran, poetry evening ceremonies, in addition to research and academic sessions and displaying the achievements of the holy shrines. The closing ceremony has been inaugurated with reciting verses of Noble Quran, then a speech of the Imam Hussein and El-Abbas holy shrines delivered by Sheikh Abdul Mehdi EL-Kerbala’i, in which he mentioned what the participating delegations had presented such indescribable efforts. He also expressed his gratitude to whoever took part in the festival such as delegations, religious scholars, poets, media agencies. He concluded by asking the participating delegations to introduce the Islamic religion of Ahlulbait (p.b.u.t).

A speech of the delegations delivered by Sheikh Ja'fer from Spain in which he mentioned that the message Imam Hussein (p.b.u.h) left in Kerbala remained widely spread and it proved itself where all people should follow it and follow the Quranic course.

Ahmed Hasan Mohammed, from Egypt has delivered a stately poem in addition to some figures from other countries.
