The water station of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine is fully operational and has production lines to serve the visitors of the Arba'een.

Great efforts are made by the cadres of the Water Division of the Engineering Projects Department at the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine to provide large quantities of water for visitors during the Ziyarat Arba'een, as their efforts are doubling during these days in order to reach the highest levels of raw and potable water production, all according to Modern technologies used by the station of the said division
The head of the engineering projects department, Eng. Dia Majid Al-Sayegh, said: “The Water Division, through its station, provides water to visitors, and its efforts are doubled during the period of the Ziyarat Arba'een, due to the large numbers that come to Karbala to perform the Ziyarat rituals.”
He added, "The water that is provided is of two types: raw water and (RO) water, and this water is distributed to the visitors and to the ablution fountains and health services, as well as to the citizens living near the station, where a dedicated outlet was provided to them to meet their daily needs and their visiting guests. ".
For his part, the official of the water division in the aforementioned department, Eng. Bassam Al-Hashimi, said: “During the period of the Ziyarat Arba'een, the Hussayni processions are fed through cooperation with the Watering Division in the Service Affairs Department, which undertakes the distribution of these large quantities of water, given that the production capacity of the station reached a million liters per day these days. "
It is noteworthy that the water station of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine is one of the important achievements that it provides in terms of clear service by providing drinking water to visitors, especially during the Ziyarat of millions of visitors flocking to the Holy City, as the latest and most advanced means in this field have been adopted.
