Under the slogan (Al-Hussayn; the endless tender and a renaissance that does not die), the activities of the festival (and through it I was guided), in its first version, were held by the Women's Library Division of the Intellectual and Cultural Affairs Department in the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine on Sunday (Safar 16, 1442 AH) corresponding to (October 4, 2020).
Concerning the festival, Mrs. Asmaa Al-Abadi, Head of the Women’s Library Division and Director of the Session stated to the Al-Kafeel Global Network, said: “Today, the Women's Library is witnessing the launch of the activities of its first cultural festival under the title: (And through which I was guided), which is held to coincide with the Ziyarat Arba'een of the Master of the Martyrs (peace be upon him). It is hoped that it will extend for a period of three consecutive days, and the first day of the festival included a dialogue session under the title (Intellectual Food during the Ziyarat Arba'een).
She added: "Female professors from inside and outside Iraq who specialize in this regard participated in the festival, and our goal in holding the festival was to focus on the importance of the cultural, educational and intellectual aspect in the Hussaini cause, and the need to pay attention to educating the visitor so that he attains the perfection that we aspire to have, to present a bright image of society aspired from the culture of the visitors of al-Hussayn (peace be upon him), and the necessity for intellectual food to be present in the Hussaini processions.
Al-Abadi explained: “The first session of the festival hosted Dr. Taghreed Haidar / a psychologist and trainer in the field of family counseling from Lebanon, who spoke about her participation saying: I am pleased to participate in this cultural festival, which aims to highlight the importance of intellectual nutrition related to the Arba'een anniversary, and its role in influencing on the personality of the human being in order to fortify him ideologically and psychologically, especially in light of the soft war directed against Islam in general and the followers of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) in particular, and this type of festivals provides the opportunity to revive the issue of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) within educational religious approaches that contribute to the intellectual advancement of our societies, and in preparation for the appearance of the awaited Imam (may God hasten his holy reappearance), who expects from us a blessed renaissance on the level of the mind and heart."
The second guest, Dr. Salima Fadhil Habib / Professor of Arabic Language and Rhetorical and Stylistic Studies in Nahj Al-Balaghah, and the Educational and Psychological Guide at Al-Kafeel University / Najaf added, "We were today in the hospitality of the al-Abbas's holy shrine to participate in the hadith of al-Husayni's love (and through it I was guided), in this workshop, we talked about the importance of intellectual nutrition and its impact on the Islamic community and even the world as well, given the opportunity provided by the Ziyarat Arba'een to provide intellectual and cultural support to those coming to perform the Ziyarat rituals and to introduce the reality of intellectual nutrition in souls intending to savor the abundance of his blessings (peace be upon him) and looking forward to be closer to the truth represented by the identity of al-Hussayn (peace be upon him), his affiliation and closeness to the Messenger of humanity (Allah's prayers be upon him and his family), and the thought and morals of al-Hussayn (peace be upon him). ”
It is worth noting that the Women’s Library Division is continuing its intellectual and cultural activities that have been transferred to the electronic format these days, in order to achieve the goals for which they were established in the service of religion and sect.
