In the presence of its Senior Officer: The al-Abbas's (P) Holy Shrine holds a council to commemorate the march of the captives from the family of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him)

This Tuesday morning (18 Safar 1442 AH) corresponding to (October 6, 2020), the al-Abbas's (P) holy shrine set up a mourning council in the Arba'een of Imam al-Hussayn (may God’s peace be upon him) in its ceremonial hall inside the holy shrine, which is a tradition that it has been holding every year to revive and recall this tragedy.
The council, which was attended by the Senior Officer of the al-Abbas's holy shrine, His Eminence Sayed Ahmad al-Safi, was restricted to a number of servants of the Master Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him), with adherence to all preventive measures, foremost of which is the realization of the principle of social distancing.
The majlis began by reciting verses from the Holy Quran, after which the eminence Sheikh Abdullah Al-Dujaili delivered a valuable lecture, centered on the oppression that occurred on the captives from the family of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) after the Taf tragedy, and how the unjust Umayyad authorities dealt with them, as well as the great role played by Our Lady Zaynab Al-Kubra and Imam Al-Sajjad (peace be upon them both), in order to deliver the message of the Hussayni cause to all parts of the globe and wherever they went.
The council concludes with a reading of the elegies that express the intensity of pain and grief that afflicts the hearts of the believers who follow the school of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them), in the Arba'een of the Master of the Martyrs (may God’s prayers and peace be upon him).
