1179 candles lit up in the Thirteenth Annual Candle Festival

Sunday June 23, 2013. On the occasion of the blessed birthday of the Awaited Imam El-Mehdi (May Allah hasten his reappearance), a great group of the followers and adorers of Ahlulbait (peace be upon them) held the Candle Festival in the presence of remarkable figures and representatives of the Secretariats-General of the Imam Hussein and El-Abbas holy shrines

The festival has been inaugurated with reciting verses of Noble Quran, and then a speech of the Secretariats-General of the Imam Hussein and El-Abbas holy shrines delivered by Sayed Adnan El-Musewi, in which he congratulated all the Muslims on the blessed birthday of the Awaited Imam El-Mehdi, (May Allah hasten his reappearance).
