Support Campaign by the al-Ameed University students to the poor families in Karbala.

A number of the students of the al-Ameed University, affiliated to the Education and Higher Education Authority at the al-Abbas's Holy Shrine, represented by the Department of Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance, organized in cooperation with the Al-Ain Foundation, a campaign to support few poor families in the Karbala Governorate, who have been affected by the repercussions of the Corona pandemic.

The director of the department, Dr. Hassanein Al-Mousawi, told Al-Kafeel Network that: "Based on the directives of the supreme religious authority with the help and support of poor families, we started this campaign that included families who were in dire need of this aid in the face of difficult life especially in the current circumstances."

He added: "The campaign aims to provide material aid, various food baskets and some household necessities with self-financing from students, in addition to providing moral support."

These campaigns contribute in activating the principle of social solidarity by university students, through the program of moral building for learners, which is practically reflected through initiatives that contribute to surrounding or addressing societal concerns.
