Relief and support processions recall the birth of the Holy Messenger (Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his family) through their support for needy families.

A number of processions within the Relief and Support Division of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine recalled the auspicious birth anniversary of the Savior of Mankind and the Master of the Messengers, the Holy Prophet Mohammad (Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household), by helping the poor and needy families through supporting them to contribute to alleviating and reducing their suffering in light of these difficult circumstances in which they live.

A number of support campaigns were organized through the units associated with the division in a number of governorates, and within a plan prepared for this purpose.

According to the division's official, Qasim Al-Mamouri, explained to the Al-Kafeel Network: “The work of the processions did not stop, whether it was by supporting the needy and poor families, supporting Popular Mobilization fighters and security forces, serving visitors or through supporting the medical staff, to contribute to confronting the Corona epidemic. "

He explained: "As the celebration of the birth anniversary of the Holy Messenger Mohammad (Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household), which is an occasion to remember the sublime meanings of humanity embodied by his eternal message, a number of processions provided support to needy families by providing food baskets, in addition to offering some clothes to a number of orphans, especially those living in orphanages, as well as organizing a free charity market for families that was held in the Salman al-Mohammadi shrine (peace be upon him). The Division provided most of what the families need in terms of food, clothes, and other things. "

Al-Mamouri added: "The work was not limited to this limit, but there were festivities, forums and Quranic sessions to commemorate this auspicious anniversary."
