On the occasion of the blessed birthday of the Awaited Imam El-Mehdi, (May Allah hasten his reappearance) an in cooperation of the holy shrines of Kerbala Province, the cultural center of defending Islamic holy shrines held its third conference on June 18, 2013.
The conference held at Imam El-Kadhim auditorium in the El-Abbas holy shrine under the title of (The role of the Islamic Religious Authorities in unity & independence of Iraq the Great Iraqi Revolution of 1920 is the pattern). It's been attended by Islamic scholars, secular, social and national figures of different religions and denominations. Also, it's been attended by many media agencies to cover such an important event in which many speeches delivered such as the head of the Cultural Center of defending the holy shrines Sheikh Yosuf En-Nasiri, in which he mentioned the role of the Islamic Religious Authority Sheikh Mohammed Teqi Esh-Shirazi in the breaking of the Great Iraqi Revolution of 1920 which led to independence and promulgating Islam. He also mentioned the role of the current Islamic Aupreme Religious Authority Sayed Ali ElSayestani (May Allah be pleased with him) in keeping the well unity of Iraq.
Sayed Mohammed Ali El-Hilo, a speech of the Islamic Supreme Religious Authority in which he mentioned the history of the Islamic Religious Authorities and their significant role.
Some poems have been delivered by poets through which they called for peace and respecting humanity. A speech of the tribes of Iraq delivered by the representative of Rebi'a tribe in which they mentioned the revivalism of Imam Hussein (Peace be upon him), and then mentioned the role of tribes and how they had expelled the colony in 1920. The head of the Mandaeism Sheikh Settar Jebbar delivered a speech in which he also mentioned the role of the tribes and Islamic Religious Authorities in fighting colony and seditions.
All the attendants of the conference directed to perform prayer led by the Secretary-General of the Imam Hussein holy shrine Sheikh Abdul Mehdi El-Kerbala'i, then performed the Daily Ritual Practice.
