The al-Ameed University announces the minimum limits for admission to its colleges for the academic year (2020/2021).

The al-Ameed University, affiliated to the Education and Higher Education Authority at the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, announced the minimum limits for admission to its (medicine - dentistry - pharmacy - nursing) faculties for the academic year (2020/2021), coinciding with the launch of the electronic form for applying to universities and colleges announced by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, which includes a list of private universities and colleges with tuition fees, according to the departments to which the student can apply, according to the following percentages:

  1. Medical College: lowest percentage is of 92%.
  2. College of dentistry: lowest percentage is of 83%.
  3. The College of Pharmacy: lowest percentage is of 83%.
  4. The College of Nursing: lowest percentage is of 60%.

It is noteworthy that the University of Al-Ameed is an educational scientific institution affiliated with the Department of Education and Higher Education at the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, and is licensed by the Iraqi Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. It consists of (Colleges of Medicine - Pharmacy - Nursing - Dentistry).

Its Medicine College is the first private medical college opened in Iraq, and it was constructed to be a scientific edifice that adopts international standards that qualifies it to enter the approved academic classifications.

The university is located in the province of Karbala - the beginning of (Karbala - Najaf) road, near the column numbered (1238).
