Mobilization [Hashd] of the holy shrines: Our forces will have a role in protecting the security of the citizen.

The commander of the Ali al-Akbar Brigade (peace be upon him), Major General Ali al-Hamdani, confirmed in a statement made to the Al-Kafeel Global Network: "Everyone answered positively to the fatwa of the [sufficient duty of] jihad of the Supreme Religious Authority; Sayed al-Sistani, but not everyone was committed to it."

He added: "The eight recommendations of the conference are a course of action for these formations. From the first days, we committed ourselves to the directives of the supreme religious authority, and we continue to adhere to them in order to build a state."

Al-Hamdani continued: We are the incubator of the fatwa and those who adhere to it and implement it. And there are those who sought partisan and political gains."

He explained: These formations have promised to be committed. And the final word was given in this conference."

The commander of the Al-Abbas (peace be upon him) Fighting Squad; Maitham Al-Zaidi: "There are several messages presented by the conference:

- The first is to reassure the Iraqi people as a result of the violations that occurred in recent days that the forces of the holy shrines are present and will have an effective and essential role in the defense of the homeland and the security of its citizens, as it had a role in defending Iraq against the ISIL enemy.

- The other message is to continue to literally adhere to the fatwa of the supreme religious authority, His Eminence Al-Sistani and his directions and wills through his agents; His Eminence Sheikh Abdul Mahdi Al-Karbalai and His Eminence Sayed. Ahmad Al-Safi.
