The building of the College of Medical and Health Technologies at Al-Kafeel University is reaching the finishing phase.

The work on the building project of the Faculty of Medical and Health Technologies at Al-Kafeel University reached great completion rates: 85% internal finishing works are completed, and the external finishing works of facade were initiated.

The engineer of this project, Ali Husam, stated to al-Kafeel Network: “The project, which is being implemented by Al-Liwa International Company and under direct supervision by the Engineering Projects Department at the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, is complementary project to the rest of the buildings of Colleges of Pharmacy, Dentistry, and Engineering, in addition to the university presidency building."

He indicated: “The project is being implemented according to the technical and engineering plans that conform to the standards of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, in a way that makes it a model building compatible with the purpose for which it was established. The project covers an area of ​​(1300) square meters, and consists of five floors with a total area of ​​(6500) square meters, and includes (12) classrooms designed with amphitheatre seating system, three of which have an area of ​​(195) square meters, three halls with an area of ​​(160) square meters, three with an area of ​​(150) square meters, and three with an area of ​​(145) square meters, and it also includes ( 12) specialized laboratories, in addition to the college deanship, administrative rooms, bathrooms, and elevators."

Hussam further explained: "The 15% remaining internal work are final stages for electrical, mechanical, civil and other works, all of which run in parallel lines. As for the external finishing works that have been initiated recently, they are the cladding of the facade with different materials according to the designs set for them."

It is noteworthy that the President of the University, Dr. Nawras Al-Dahan, follows up these works and reviews them periodically, urging the workers on the project to exert more effort in order to complete it within its timings, and within the technical and academic specifications prepared for it.

It is noteworthy that after the completion of all the work related to the faculties of the new scientific complex of Al-Kafeel University, affiliated to the Education and Higher Education Authority at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, namely: (the College of Pharmacy, the College of Dentistry, the University Presidency, and the College of Engineering), the work started in one of the complex buildings: (College of Medical and Health Technologies).
