The Center for Manuscript Imaging and Indexing hosts a delegation from the Basra Heritage Center to strengthen the bonds of cooperation and joint work.

The Center for Manuscript Imaging and Indexing of the Library and Manuscripts House of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine hosted a delegation from the Basra Heritage Center of the Department of Islamic and Human Knowledge Affairs, within the framework of strengthening cooperation and joint work and exchange of ideas within the field of manuscript heritage and historical documents.
The visiting delegation, headed by Deputy Director of the Center Sheikh Yassin Al-Youssef, looked into the center's corridors and its scientific and artistic formations, and listened to a detailed explanation of the nature of its work and activities in the field of manuscript heritage and historical documents, including indexing, analysis, photography and archive of the content of these rare and precious papers that represent the manuscript history In all its details, as well as its access to the specialized library of world manuscript indexes.
The Director of the Center for Manuscript Imaging and Indexing, Professor Salah Al-Sarraj, stated to Al-Kafeel Network: "As a continuation of our joint and interconnected cooperation between heritage centers, a delegation from the Basra Heritage Center visited the center to learn about its departments and continuous achievements in the field of heritage."
He explained: "Since the establishment of the center, we have been keen to consolidate relations and joint cooperation with heritage centers all over Iraq and the Arab and Islamic world, as we share common bonds with these centers in the area of ​​interest and care for manuscripts and historical documents."
