Commencing the work of manufacturing the metal parts for the shrine’s grid of Lady Zaynab (peace be upon her).

Mr. Nadhem Al-Ghurabi, head of the department of manufacturing the grids and doors of the holy shrines of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, announced the start of manufacturing the metal parts for the new grid of the shrine of Lady Zaynab (peace be upon her), after the final approval of its design.
These works coincided with the auspicious birth anniversary of lady Zaynab (peace be upon her).
Al-Ghurabi added: “Among the metal parts that we started manufacturing are the metal balls and their handles (the part connecting one ball to another), which are made of stainless steel and which are resistant to rust and corrosion. These parts, which are manufactured with high craftsmanship and precision, are the main component of the 14 knotworks (Duhna)."
Noting: "The manufactured balls are 3 mm thick and their handle is 6 mm thick. Each ball is manufactured in two stages, starting by half of the ball then welding it to another half in a special way to become one metal ball."
Al-Ghurabi asserted: “The department’s cadres are making an extra effort to complete this project within the timings planed for it and according to its designed specifications. All work is going in parallel lines according to a work plan developed for this purpose."
Al-Ghurabi concluded: "The work of the wooden structure of the grid is continuous, and strides have been made in the work of manufacturing and installing its parts, to be ready upon completion of any metal section that will be installed on it."
