Thousands of meals were distributed by the host restaurant of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine during the Fatimi sorrows days.

The host restaurant of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) distributed hundreds of meals to visitors and mourners, during the Fatimi sorrows days on the commemoration of the martyrdom of Lady az-Zahra (peace be upon her). The distribution process reached its climax on Friday's eve, which is mainly characterized by the influx of large crowds of visitors, to perform the Ziyarat rituals that coincided with this anniversary.
The head of the host department, Eng. Adel Al-Hamami, explained to the Al-Kafeel network, saying: “The host restaurant, as usual, distributes free meals on special occasions, including the Friday's eve, and the sad anniversary of the martyrdom of Lady az-Zahra (peace be upon her) according to the various narrations. The two holy shrines receive in this occasion large numbers of visitors and mourners. Therefore, we prepare various meals and distribute them to the visitors through the host's distribution outlets. And because the number of visitors reached its peak on Friday's eve, so we prepared and distributed hundreds of different meals for them on that night."
He added: "The distribution of meals was through special distribution outlets identified by the host's department for more than five days. The distribution process is carried out in a high smooth manner without overcrowding or affecting the visitors' traffic. "
Al-Hamami concluded, saying: “The host restaurant takes an organized approach in the process and mechanism of distribution by organizing queues, and dividing them into queues for men and others for women. This professionalism is the result of the accumulation of experiences over the past years. The staffs of the host restaurant of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas; Qamar Bani Hashem (peace be upon him) has become known for its service to visitors on the one hand, and for its high organization on the other hand, not only in Karbala, but also in all the cities where it offers its services to the visitors during the important Ziyarat events."
It is reported that large crowds of believers - individual and mourning processions - from the city of Karbala and its neighboring cities, visit these days the shrines of Aba Abdillah Al-Hussayn and his brother, the bearer of his banner, Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon them both), to commemorate the martyrdom of Lady az-Zahra (peace be upon her).
