Al-Kafeel Hospital doctors succeed in transplanting three arteries into the heart of a forty-year-old patient.

A medical team at Al-Kafeel Specialist Hospital announced that it had successfully transplanted three arteries into the heart of a forty-year-old patient.
"Our medical team succeeded in transplanting three arteries into the heart of a 40-year-old patient, as well as cleaning the neck artery from the left side of the patient," said the specialist in cardiac surgery at the hospital, Dr. Bashir Akpinar.
"The patient was suffering from a cerebral stroke and a heart attack," Akpinar added, explaining that by performing the diagnostic catheter, it was found that he had clogged arteries.
The heart surgeon pointed out: "The blockage does not occur in the arteries of the heart only, but can occur in any organ of the body."
