The Relief and Support Division of the Religious Affairs Department of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine conducted convoys to support the Popular Mobilization fighters stationed in the Qaim, Akashat and Samarra operations districts, and a number of processions affiliated to it in cooperation with the Al-Abbas Squad; Brigade / 26 Popular Mobilization Forces participated in this campaign.
This campaign is part of the series of campaigns that the Division has been running, in addition to its support for the poor and oppressed families that have been affected by the repercussions of the Corona epidemic.
The official of the Relief and Support Unit in Najaf Governorate, Ashraf Aqeel Mahbouba, said: “The processions that participated in this campaign provided basic materials such as winter clothes, blankets, medical supplies, firewood, white oil, fruits and other support supplies, as well as moral support to raise the morale of heroic fighters in particular those stationed on the mounds in the forward borders separating Iraq and Syria.
He added, "The campaign also included a number of Samarra operation districts, with the participation of another group of support convoys within the division and from the various governorates. It also included the distribution of necessary materials and supplies needed by the combatant under these circumstances."
In the same context, Colonel Fahim Al-Khafaji, said: “By order of the Squad leadership, a committee was formed from several parties in the squad, including the staff officer and representatives from the Intelligence, Security, Relations and Media Department, and it assigned processions to provide support to the 13th, 17th, 18th, 19th and 46th brigades in the popular mobilization."
It is noteworthy that the Support and Relief Division of the al-Abbas's (P) shrine had recently intensified its presence and humanitarian presence in two parts, the first to stand with the families affected by the repercussions of the Corona pandemic, and the other to support fighters in various districts of operations, through its units and associated processions spread in a number of governorates, providing the support for fighters from the security forces and the Popular Mobilization Forces.
