A delegation from the two holy shrines offers condolences to the families of the martyrs of the bombings of Tayaran Square.

A delegation from the holy shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and al-Abbas (peace be upon both of them) offered condolences to the families of the martyrs of the double suicide bombing in Tayaran Square in the capital, Baghdad, last Thursday (7 Jumada II 1442 AH) corresponding to (January 21, 2021).
The delegation included a number of officials and staffs of the two holy shrines, who conveyed the condolences of the supreme religious authority, the two senior officials, and the servants of the two holy shrines to the families of the martyrs.
The representative of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine within this delegation, the assistant head of its religious affairs department; Sheikh Adel al-Wakeel, spoke to the al-Kafeel network about this visit, saying: “Under the guidance of the Senior officials of the Holy Shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and al-Abbas (peace be upon both of them), we came today to attend the mourning councils and to extend condolences to the families of the innocent martyrs who were killed without any guilt by the hands of criminal oppressors who have no connection to humanity, by a cowardly terrorist bombing in Tayaran Square. This group of innocent civilians is added to the list of Iraqi martyrs who were killed unjustly in the beloved capital Baghdad and the rest of the Iraqi provinces."
The martyrs' families in turn appreciated this step and initiative and thanked those who attended and consoled them, expressing at the same time that this visit means a lot to them.
