The department of the area between the two shrines begins a campaign to regulate the electrical transformers at the entrance to Sahib Al-Zaman Street.

The technical staff in the department of the area between the Two Holy Shrines of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine started the work of organizing low-pressure electrical transformers on the sides of the entrance to Sahib al-Zaman Street (may Allah hasten his holy reappearance). These works came as a continuation of the expansion works that preceded them to contribute to absorbing the momentum of the visitors and the inhabitants of the region, as it is one of the important roads leading to the two holy shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and his brother Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon them both).
Eng. Alaa Hamza Salman, head of the maintenance division in the aforementioned department, explained to the al-Kafeel Network, saying: “The work of reorganizing and arranging electrical transformers came according to the directives of the General Secretariat of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine in coordination with the Governorate Electricity Directorate and under direct supervision by the department presidency. These transformers are located in appropriate places, in addition to making new boxes for them, with a design that has artistic touches that are far from their old form. "
He added: "Initially, the new sites were selected and defined in a way that does not affect the movement of visitors and away from the sidewalks of the street, then we moved them to these new places, and after that a new iron box was created for them, in a modern design in line with the updates that have been made to the area."
