An academic delegation visits the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine and confirms that its projects are qualitative and aim to serve the country.

A women delegation from the College of Education for Pure Sciences at Dhi Qar University confirmed that the projects of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine are qualitative projects aimed at advancing its various sectors, and all of them serve this country, whether they are (intellectual - urban - industrial - and agricultural) projects. This is a source of pride, hope and optimism.

The delegation visited to the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine within the program of the Cultural Forum for Iraqi University Professors, which is organized and supervised by the University and School Relations Division of the Public Relations Department at the Holy Shrine.

According to what was stated by its supervisor; Professor Mohamad Al-Hamdani: “The program lasted for three days and included an introduction and explanation of the various types of projects implemented by the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, including its educational projects, such as the al-Kafeel youth project that emerged from this forum. This was followed by a group visit of the shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and his brother Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon them both) and a tour in their museums."

He added: "The program also included presenting three lectures on a rotating basis by Professor Jasam Al-Saeedi from the Department of Information of the Holy Shrine. His lecture was entitled (National Identity and How to Enhance It). And a lecture on human development given by Professor Ali Al-Shammari from the Department of Development and Sustainable Development entitled (Strategic Planning and the making of goals), to be concluded with a religious lecture given by Sheikh Dakhel Al-Nouri from the Religious Affairs Department, which focused on the importance of science, learning and scientific honesty in delivering the material to students."

Al-Hamdani continued, saying: “The delegation also visited the external projects of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine. The tour included both the Khair al-Joud Company for Modern Agricultural and Industrial Technology and the al-Ameed University, in addition to the farm of Khairat Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) for agricultural crops, and the al-Siddiqah al-Taherah (peace be upon her) Center for women's activities and events. The delegation listened to a detailed explanation of each project, its goals and achievements."

Adding: "The conclusion of this program was an entertaining tour that included the visitors' city of the Master of Guardians (peace be upon him) belonging to the Imam al-Hussayn’s (p) Holy Shrine and the Al-Afaf Shopping Center."
