Cleaning, perfuming and furnishing a new carpet set for the sanctuary of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him).

In honor of the auspicious anniversary of the birth of Lady Fatima az-Zahra (peace be upon her), the sanctuary of the shrine of her dear Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him) witnessed works of cleaning, perfuming and furnishing a new carpet set. These works are supervised by the Division of the Care of the Holy Sanctuary and a number of servants of the Holy Shrine.

The head of the division, Haj Nizar Ghani Khalil, explained to the al-Kafeel Network the following: “These works were carried out last night after the number of visitors decreased. We closed the holy sanctuary and we removed the old carpets, then we washed the floor and walls of the holy sanctuary starting from the holy grid to the golden Iwan using special cleaning agents."

He added: "The work also included cleaning the holy grid using special materials that help maintain its luster, then scenting and fumigating the surroundings using high-quality perfumes. Then we furnished the holy sanctuary with new carpets according to the measurements taken in advance. Noting that the new carpets are of a luxurious quality and their colors are compatible with the colors of the carpets of the Holy Shrine. "
