University students perform the graduation oath in the shrine of Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him) as part of the al-Kafeel second batch.

A number of university students graduating for the academic year (2019/2020) and (2020/2021) took the graduation oath in the shrine of Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him), as part of the activities of the central ceremony for the graduation of Iraqi university students, the second batch (al-Kafeel girls), organized by the Division Al-Kafeel Women's Religious Schools affiliated to the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, which was held this Friday (22 Jumada II 1442 AH) corresponding to (February 5, 2021).

The event came within a program, which began with performing the Ziyarat rituals of the shrine of Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him), then heading to the shrine of his brother Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (may God’s peace be upon him), where they sat following the safety health measures and listened to the word of General Secretariat of the al-Abbas's (p Holy Shrine that was delivered by a member of its board of directors, Prof. Dr. Abbas Rashid al-Mousawi, through which he extended his congratulations to them for this achievement, wishing them a better practical and scientific life.

This was followed by the performance of the graduation oath in front of the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him), after which they headed to perform the Ziyarat rituals in a group manner. The ceremony was then concluded by a chant about the birth anniversary of Lady az-Zahra (peace be upon her), and the conclusion was with Dua al-Faraj of the Imam of the Order and Time (May Allah hasten his holy reappearance).

As for the evening activity of this program, it included a parental meeting that brought them together with the Senior Official of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine; His Eminence Sayed Ahmad al-Safi, and listening to his wise directives and advices to them in the Sheikh Kulayni Complex.

In the end, the graduate students participating in the ceremony were honored.

The students expressed their overwhelming joy with this event, indicating that the celebration inside the shrine of Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him) and performing their graduation oath is nothing but a turning point in their future life, and that they will do what they can for the sake of serving this country. They also extended their thanks to the holy shrine and the Division of Al-Kafeel Women's Religious Schools for this kind initiative and gesture.

For her part, Ms. Bushra Al-Kinani, the head of the Al-Kafeel Religious Schools Division, explained in an interview with the Al-Kafeel Network: "In appreciation of their efforts and their eagerness to fulfill their academic requirements in light of the" Covid 19 "pandemic, the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine strived to set up a ceremony to honor the second batch of Iraqi university students, which is an honor for them and an incentive to continue the march of development and success and look to the future with confidence and reassurance."

Al-Kinani asserted: “The graduation ceremony is an occasion in which we express our pride in what Iraqi university students represent, to confirm their commitment to work with determination, especially that this academic year was marked by the challenge with the Coronavirus, to be a practical lesson for students in challenging the obstacles they face in the future, and how to find solutions that are commensurate with the general atmosphere. Thus, our preparation of this ceremony was in line with the preventive and hygienic measures from providing logistical supplies of sterilization materials and spatial separation between students. It is to note that a number of students sought to register in the Al-Kafeel Religious Schools Division and deepen the role of communication with it ".
