Within the stages of its rehabilitation: Completion of the interior cladding of the Imam Ali Al Hadi (peace be upon him) gate.

The personnel working on the rehabilitation and design project of the Imam Ali Al-Hadi (peace be upon him) Gate located in the north-eastern part of the courtyard of Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace upon him), have completed all the cladding work for the area that extends from its point of contact from the gate's main entrance to the holy sanctuary.

Engineer Dia Majeed Al-Sa'egh, head of engineering projects at the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, told the al-Kafeel Network: "These works are part of a project to enhance the gates overlooking the holy sanctuary (which were formerly its main gates), with the main entrance leading to it from the outside and making them one part, starting from the entrance and ending with the old gate adjacent to the arches of the holy sanctuary, according to the designs of each gate in a way that corresponds to the architectural fabric of the holy shrine on the one hand, and to align with the gate as a whole," he said.

"The Imam Ali Al-Hadi (peace be upon him) Gate is one of three gates that have been completed. The floors have been cladded, and the factors of its elevation from the holy sanctuary have been taken into consideration, thus creating a smoother flow of movement with the level of runways that have all been covered by the natural alabaster." "The only work left of this gate is cladding the walls with Kashi Karbalai," he said. "The installation areas have been prepared and identified with special decorative segments and shapes that will surround it."
