The conference, which was attended by a limited number of participants and attendees as a result of the repercussions of the Corona epidemic, was held in the hall of Imam al-Hassan (peace be upon him) and witnessed the presence of religious and academic figures from inside and outside Karbala, as well as the Secretary-General of the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine; Engineer Mohamad Al-Ashigar, and a number of its board members and heads of its departments.
The activities of the conference began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran by the reciter Salem Ammar Al-Hilli, after which Surat Al-Fatiha was read as a tribute to the martyrs of Iraq, followed by the speech of the General Secretariat of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine delivered by the member of its Board of Directors Professor Dr. Abbas Rasheed Al-Mousawi, in which he explained that the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine took the responsibility to hold annual conferences about Imam al-Baqer (peace be upon him) to dive into his treasures, spread his knowledge, and shed the light on his virtue and his role. And this was the goal of the holy shrine in the conference, as it allocated a competition for the best author on him (peace be upon him) and the winning works were printed, so there were numerous researches by the virtuous scholars of Hawza and academic professors ...
This was followed by the speech of the festival guests that was delivered on their behalf by the professor of the Hawza in Najaf; Sayed. Muhammad Ali Bahr al-Ulum, in which he affirmed: “The people of Iraq loved dearly the Imams of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them), and this was their test, affection and slogan that they kept and they cling to, since Imam Ali (peace be upon him) made Kufa his capital and to this day, and God willing, Iraq will remain loving them and reviving their matter, reminding the whole world of them and their high human principles, which were not spread except by the efforts of its people who made great sacrifices to keep high the banner of the Imams of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) "...
This was followed by the recitation of a poem by the poet Najah Al-Arsan, the verses of which were chanted on this auspicious occasion, and then the activities of the research session chaired by Dr. Ali Kadhem Al-Maslawi were inaugurated, and it was as follows:
The first researcher: Sheikh Dr. Jaber Al-Fariji, and his research was entitled / The Role of Imam Al-Baqer in Establishing Jurisprudence.
The second researcher: Sheikh Mohammad Redha Al-Diksen, and his research was entitled / Intellectual Deviations and the Role of Imam Al-Baqer in the Correction Process.
The third research: Dr. Amal Abdul-Jabbar Al-Sharaa from the University of Babylon, and her research was entitled / The impact of Imam Al-Baqer (peace be upon him) on the cognitive fortification of the Islamic nation.
The fourth research: Professor Karima Nomas Al-Madani from the University of Karbala, and her paper was entitled / Speeches of Imam Al-Baqer (peace be upon him) ... a reading in light of the communicative mind theory.
