The area between the two Holy Shrines is witnessing a massive campaign of sterilization.

The Department of the Area between the Two Holy Shrines of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine launched an expanded campaign for sterilization that included the space between the two holy shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and his brother Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon them both) and their vicinity, as part of the precautionary measures recently taken to prevent the spread of the Corona epidemic, In light of the increase in the number of the affected people, in a manner that ensures the preservation of the health of visitors and employees, taking advantage of the fact that this area is relatively empty as a result of imposing the preventive curfew taken in the governorate.
The head of the department, Mr. Nafe' Al-Mousawi, said: “This campaign is part of a series of campaigns that we have previously undertaken, but it is more focused on the recommendations of the Medical Affairs Division at the Holy Shrine and its Prevention Committee, and included the outer perimeter of the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) passing through In the central square between the two holy shrines, ending with the covered space of the square and its service facilities and what is adjacent to this square, by using disinfectants and sterilizers produced by the Khair Al-Joud Company, which has proven its effectiveness in sterilization and disinfection."
It is noteworthy that the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine has tightened its precautionary measures to prevent Coronavirus, and has worked to follow the preventive instructions issued by the competent health authorities.
