The al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine celebrates with joy the birth anniversary of Imam Ali (peace be upon him).

As usual in every year in such blessed days, the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine and its surrounding areas celebrates with joy the birth anniversary of the Dragonfly of the Religion, the Leader of the resplendent faithful and the Guardian of the Messenger of the Lord of the Worlds (Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household); Imam Ali Ibnu Abi Taleb (peace be upon him).

The walls of the holy sanctuary of the shrine of Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him) and its corridors were decorated, and on them were hung banners on which the most beautiful expressions of congratulations and loyalty were written to illustrate some of the unique virtues and qualities of the Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him).

The main entrances of the shrine were decorated with wreaths of flowers, roses and natural plants as well as colorful lamps that added beauty to this holy place for this great occasion. Also the area between the two holy shrines was adorned to manifest the celebrations as well as the roads and streets leading to the holy shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him).

It is noteworthy that the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine every year prepares a ceremonial program for the commemoration of this auspicious anniversary, but this year, as a result of the current circumstance and commitment to the directives of the supreme religious authority and the crisis cell not to hold gatherings to prevent the Corona epidemic, the celebration was limited to some activities that will be set up remotely or electronically, or by a mechanism authorized and permitted by the relevant authorities.
