A medical team at the Al-Kafeel Specialist Hospital of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine announced its success in fixing a complex fracture at the top of the humerus for one of the fighters.
An orthopedic and fracture specialist at the hospital, Dr. Ihsan Al-Faraj, said: “Our medical team succeeded in fixing a complex fracture at the top of the right humerus bone using a (locked plate) for a fighter,” indicating: “The operation was performed using regional anesthesia.”
Dr. Al-Faraj explained: “A number of hospitals refused to perform the operation for the patient, because the fracture is a very complex one,” noting that: “The hospital's operating hall techniques helped us to perform this type of operation continuously and with high success rates.”
