The launch of the activities of the Third International Conference with local and international participation.

This morning, Monday (8 Sha’ban 1442 AH) corresponding to (March 22, 2021), the activities of the Third International Conference on Medical, Engineering and Pure Sciences, which is being held by Al-Kafeel University in cooperation with Al-Ameed University, Al-Kafeel Hospital and the National University of Malaysia (UKM), took place at Sheikh Naseer Al-Din Al-Tusi Hall at the University's College of Dentistry by following the means of prevention and health safety and was held also online via the (ZOOM) platform.

The activities began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran by the reciter, Mr Qassem Al-Jabouri, then reading Surat Al-Fatihah as a mercy for the souls of the righteous martyrs of Iraq, and listening to the national anthem and the anthem of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine (Pride Melody), followed by a speech of its Senior Official delivered on his behalf by the member of the Board of Directors, Prof. Dr. Abbas Rashid Al-Mousawi, in which he highlighted that it is not surprising that the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine is interested in science and in organizing such conferences.

Then came the word of the Al-Kafeel University, affiliated to the Education and Higher Education Commission at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, given by its president, Prof. Dr. Nawras Al-Dahan, who stated that the producing universities are those that contribute to advancing development wheel.

After that, an introductory film about the Al-Kafeel University, its most prominent scientific and academic activities and events, and its achievements since its establishment, was displayed.

After that, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Saeed Abdel Zahra gave a scientific lecture entitled: (Essentials Curriculum Design).

After that, the conference’s research sessions, which were distributed to a number of halls at the university, were opened, with the presentation of 341 accepted research abstracts from inside and outside Iraq out of (535) papers that were submitted to the conference.
