The guidance and support committee visits the regiment to protect the shrine of Imams al-Hadi and al-‘Askari (peace be upon them).

A delegation from the Guidance and Support Committee of the Religious Affairs Department at the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine visited the regiment for the protection of the shrine of imams al-Hadi and al-'Askari (peace be upon them) in the holy city of Samarra.

This is part of the committee's series of tours and visits to the various operational sectors and the forces stationed in them, whether from the security forces or the popular mobilization, in order to contribute to the sharpening of motivation, to stand with them morally and to know their conditions.

The official of the committee, Sheikh Haider Al-'Aredhi, told the Al-Kafeel network that the Force Protection of the shrine of Imams al-Hadi and al-'Askari (peace be upon them) affiliated to the Federal Police Forces, is having the duty to provide a safe environment for this holy place, and it is making an effort to achieve this goal, so we directed our delegation to visit a number of security checkpoints and sectors, in which these forces are present. The delegation listened to the duties they are performing in order to provide protection for the visitors, the Holy Shrine, and the city as a whole."

He added, "The visiting delegation thanked them and urged them to exert more effort to repel and defeat everyone who was tempted to tamper with the security of this city. We also delivered the greetings and prayers of their brothers in the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, as well as providing them with logistical materials and blessing gifts from the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him).
